Last day of 2008....

Woah....today is the last day of 2008...31st December 2008! Time pass so fast. this year is...well...roller coaster..something like that to explain my journey for this year! HAHAHAHA...hmmm...so much to think about this year. but i do learn a lot! yeah...and i know what i really want! which is great !! going shopping later!! haha..i have a mission to do!! LOL...

well..had a badminton gathering with my dear juniors on 27th dec(saturday) LOL..it was fun! and the soft shell crab is awesome!! :P it's great to gather with them after i MIA for such a long long time...hehe..so sorry gals :P...

CHRISTMAS EVE!!

TODAY IS CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hahaha...but im staying at home rotting my christmas eve away! LOL..didnt go for gina's potluck session..oopps...so sorry!! cuz gotta accompany my parents for dinner!

brrrrrrr.....today is so COOLING! erm...kinda of like the weather in chiangmai! which i really like..but abit too chilly! hahaha..

shopping malls were super crowded today, especially departmental stores like Tangs, Isetan, Centrepoint blah blah....everyone were trying to do their last minute shopping! log cakes..turkeys...hams..cookies were all snatched up!! some people were purchasing from marks&spencer instead! haha..it was so frantic!!

frustrations..satisfaction...anxiety could be seen on the shoppers' faces!! interesting day!!

bought a HUGE box of marks&spencer choc biscuits...my sis's treat!! goody!! hehehe...hmmm...helping her to plan her 21st bday...ZzZzzZZ... HAHAHHA.....

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE...like... OCIP 2008 TEAM 2, 08S20, SAJC TOUCH RUGY TEAM, KSS 4F...KSS BADMINTON TEAM..etc...hahaha

can i choose?

every word stabbed into the heart.why.it comes from the people you loved. if we cant love the people around us.especially our dearest,closest family, do we actually have the right to criticise others? do we the right to say we love others more? can i say i love the kids in chiangmai more than anyone or anything else? no.i cant. that makes me inhuman. it's not that i dont love them. it's just that if love can't be showed in a traditional family more openly, there would be more misunderstandings. this could be endless. practise of saying, ' i am sorry' , 'i love you' can be easy. or can be so difficult. not all things can go the way you want. who doesnt want their wishes and hopes to come true? patience is the virtue. patience is the best gift you can give your parents. learn to love your parents with your heart. how do i tell them?
am i a hypocrite? i dare to ask.
do i get to say 'NO' if i don't like ?
can i follow my passion and interest?
does loving running, kayaking, rowing and all sorts of other extreme sports a fault?
am i a weak? that's why i left the team earlier on?
why cant i choose?
so will i get the chance to choose?
life is not about yourself only.
success indeed can bring you far. a certain distance. obssession with high-paid salary jobs and etc.
seldom, we get to enjoy the process of what we do.
can i be a human?
do i have to explain to everyone why or what i do?why?
is it bad to follow your interest? like i running or kayaking or rowing therefore i left the team?
do i really have a choice to be able to choose whatever i like?
can i say 'NO' to some things that i don't like?
or am i too weak for challenges?
then how do i explain about a captain? it's never an easy thing. post kill people at times.
am i hypocrite? i dare to ask.

1st day at changi airport

STANDARD CHARTERED!!!

YEAH!!! I'VE COMPLETED STANDARD CHARTERED MARATHON!!! okok...it's only 10km..big deal..moreover,i didnt clock in the timing i wanted...i ran for about 1hr10mins?? GG man..i wanted to run at least under 1 hour!!! argghhh..whatever..but good job to myself..cuz i've not run for how many months!!! hahaha

saw gina! lol...poor thing..hehe..ran 12km then walk the remaining distance for her half marathon that she didnt want!! :P...took photos..shall upload next time..!!!

omg...im so tired..ZZZZzzzZZZZzzZZzzZ..woke up at 3.50am!!!!!! *sobs*...

but the race was good, but kinda of too crowded for 10km category.the scenary was awesome!! hahahaha...SPORTS CARS!!! geez...just listen to the engine, you'll get your motivation and energy back!! lol...appreciate the runspirators and volunteers alot!! they encourage alot people which i found rather useful..but it was rather unpleasant for some selfish people who didnt walked at the side when they didnt want to run..or people pushing at the drinks stations..or people throwing the paper cups in the middle or the road..oh well...if everyone can be more considerate..think the run would be fantastic!! hahaha

hmmm...later have a wedding dinner to attend..die,wearing high heels..so going to die:P..tmr going to east coast to cycle with my family!!! then wed going to cycling again with ocip team mates..LOL.. WHEE!!! shiok to the max!! keep on exercising!! awesome...i shall run more often at the stadium..

darn..i haven't sign up rowing lessons!! GG lah..or anyone got any suggestion of other water sports for me to sign up?HAHAHA...

man...im kinda of addicted to blogging...because there's photos for me to upload!! LOL...hmmm...well, today we went to send KC off!! went to airport again!! we had popeyes for lunch!! GG man...the chicken is huge!! but i like the fries and bread(??) more ....LOL...was super full cuz 1 piece of chicken is BIG!! lol...we went to T3 hotel...OMG!!! hahaha..super grand !!! the toilets were fantastic!! HAHAHA... we took so many photos..just like tourists/country pumkins ....maurice had fun snapping photos of everyone randomly..enjoying himself to the max!! LOL...it was a nice gathering for the team again...KC had the most number of ppl sending him off !!

hmmm...we seem to be eating everytime we meet up!! GG!!..lol..didnt went for run today:P...but found my skipping rope..so i skipped about 1500times!! but i wasn't that tired!! amazing! mayb construction work is much more tiring...LOL...which means..we're STRONGER!!! lol..and i "played" with my hula hoop for 20mins or so..LOL..

GOSH!! this sunday is standard chartered marathon!!! die...hope i won't walk...LOL..wanna clock in a nice timing...

well...forget to mention that we were stuck in the Star Hotel on day14(27Nov)...because of the situation in chiangmai...blah blah...nvm..whatever..it's over:D..

Day 13-15 (26Nov-28Nov)

DAY13--26NOV

This was the day.
The day when we said goodbye to the village, to the Ban Pha Hang school, to the kids, to the teachers, to Miss Ae, to Tow, to the dogs, to our bunks, to the scenary.
The day where our tears flow down just like that.
The day that I really learn how tough it is to love people--this was what tricia shared with all of us. I agree with her. Somehow i don't to love anymore, because it hurts so much when you know you had to part.It was really painful to love.Painful to let it go.
It was so amazing. How bonds were forged in such a short period of time.
The kids' tears were so pure.so innocent.imagine how much they felt for us.
Our hearts hurt when we see them crying.

We said our last goodbye with our hearts aching.
We hopped onto the trucks and had a final glance at the children, at the village, at the roads, and we lost sight of the school and back to civilisation.

We then went for an elephant ride,bamboo rafting..check in hotel, then dinner..
